Brisbane Domestic Terminal

image

An extension of Brisbane Airport’s domestic terminal provided greater opportunity for airlines to operate out of the facility.

Air conditioning was provided to the administration and customer service areas via three air handling units complete with variable air volume (VAV) distribution. Passenger access to the aircraft was air conditioned by multiple chilled water fan coil units.

The outside air intakes sat very closely to the operating aircraft. In order to minimise any odours coming from the exhaust into the occupied spaces they were fitted with activated carbon filtration.

Chilled water was provided by means of connection to the central chilled water plant within the terminal.
