Digital Harbour
Located in Melbourne’s Digital Harbour Precinct, this A-grade commercial office space at 990 LaTrobe Street Melbourne, spans 12,200m2 over eight levels and is home to the office-based operations of Melbourne Water.
The brand new building has been designed to a six-star green building standard, which few office buildings in Australia currently reach. Furthermore, a 5-star NABERS energy rating is targeted for the project as a whole.
An under floor air distribution system allows for the delivery of higher than traditional volumes of fresh air. A gas-fired tri-generation plant for on-site electricity production and waste heat recovery is used to heat and cool the building and has significantly contributed to the building’s energy efficiency.
Construction commenced late 2010 and was complete by mid-2012.
